Trace carry straps are used to prevent the traces from hanging too low, thus helping to prevent the horse from getting their leg over the trace. It can be used for Team Leaders, or for Wheeler and Pairs where breeching is not being used. The quick release loops offer safe, swift fitting and removal from the trace. The crupper (back strap) may be fed through the top of the carry strap to hold it in the correct position.
